Believe it or not coyotes are very common in Los Angeles, they prey on our small pets, like cats and small dogs so be aware if you leave your animals outside overnight. One evening I get a call on our emergency line from a customer in shock, a coyote came after her dog while she was sitting in her doorway just about 15 feet away. Luckily she was able to make enough noises and even thru objects to scare they coyote away. She informed me that other people in the neighborhood have seen this coyote so she knew it would be back. Early the next morning I sent trapper Jordan to the customers home to set up traps so if it returns we'll get it. Just as we thought the critter returned and was trapped.
